As an enthusiast of protein bars, i came across the outright bar. The creator of this bar is known to make a lot of overall good supplements in terms of taste and quality.

Protein bars are all over the market, they are a helpful and convenient tool to meet your macro nutrient and calorie goals for the day. Protein bars are very controversial since like almost everything else, the first protein bars were really bad in terms of quality, test and value for money.  If you want to know more about protein bars,  check out this article: All you need to know about protein bars

Now that you are already convinced about protein bars and you are looking for a very tasty bar, please read the whole review.

Outright Bar S’mores Flavor

Protein Content per serving

How much protein you really need a day? This bar has some hate due to the protein content of 14-18 grams depending on the flavor, the truth is that most people overestimate how much protein the need in a day. The truth is that you just need around one gram of protein per pound of body weight. So unless you rely on protein bars for your sources of protein which you shouldn’t, do not worry about 5 more grams of protein. Specially if you are bulking or maintaining.

Since outright bars haven’t been around as long as other mainstream bars, the  price can be a little higher, the good news is that they are now in the Vitamin Shoppe and i think that you may get some good deals in the future, but they run around 25 USD for a 12 bar pack at the time of writing this article, this comes to 2 dlls per bar, this is around the same price as the other competitor bars without any promotion, and we are talking about top taste and quality.

Flavor & Texture

This is going to be the winning factor for some of you, of course sticking your diet will involve some type of enjoyment from the foods you eat. The outright bars come in a variety of flavors, and they are nut based so they will always taste like peanut butter or almond butter, this can be a pro or a con depending if you like nut butters. But they taste really good! Not a single of this bars taste bad and the majority taste really really good, the texture is amazing too, it melts off in your mouth and it has a fresh just baked feeling. Flavor and texture is what puts the outright bar above all of the bars out there.

Top Flavors: S’mores and Cookies and Cream

Brand Reputation & Quality

MTS nutrition is the brand behind the outright bars, its CEO Marc Lobliner is known to make some of the better tasting products in the fitness industry. Marc consumes the product himself and he also created this bar for his family so this is a top quality product. Whey isolate, Peanut Butter or Almond Butter, Oats and Honey are the only ingredients in outright bars. This is a quality product and the brand reputation is just one of the most trusted brands from gym goers around the internet.

Caloric Content

The caloric content of the bar will vary due to the flavor. Outright bars have around 240-270 calories per bar. This can really add up to your caloric intake of the day, specially considering they are super convenient and they taste really good! Make sure that you know how many calories you are eating. You definitely don’t want to over do it. If you are not sure about caloric content or how to calculate your calories, you can check out these posts:
